This volunteered geographic information (VGI) simulation is part of an undergraduate honors thesis about the lack of access to geospatial data poverty in developing countries. Consequently, the central goal of this simulation is to evaluate the feasibility of using VGI as an alternative community-based data collection method for developing countries lacking a national geospatial data infrastructure.
